The Dragonfly ID app is a free, interactive app that allows users to learn more about the dragonflies and damselflies they see in the field, as well as how to identify them. This includes an interactive identification guide that teaches users to recognize different species, based on their distinctive appearance. Users can also view the species they find on a map, and learn more about them through their mobile device’s built-in dictionary. This is a citizen science project that provides important information to the public and helps to enhance our understanding of the Odonata species.
